We are a multifaceted treatment team of therapists and therapeutic coaches that use several therapeutic approaches to include therapeutic art coaching, somatic movement and yoga, trauma Informed weight-lifting, skills development coaching, substance use and recovery coaching, family and intimate partner coaching, trauma coaching, and integrative nutritional coaching within our IOP group dynamics and individual sessions.
THERAPY: We apply proven therapeutic techniques to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in treating clients in behavioral health that includes eating disorders, disordered eating, and trauma recovery. Our goal is to offer a therapist in each of the 50 states in the United States of America.
SOLUTION FOCUSED COACHING: We apply solution-focused coaching to help define the function of your disordered eating, understand how it impacts your life and the lives of those you love, help you find a healthy solution to your struggles, and develop preventive measures for recovery.
BEHAVIORAL COACHING: We help those struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating effectively achieve a wider range of balance of emotional and skill development, positive self-concept, and internal motivation to help develop preventive measures for an eating disorder.
HOLISTIC COACHING: We help clients reach their goal of being fully recovered from eating disorders and disordered eating by focusing on the whole person's approach to health through physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological health. Through group collaboration, our team of professionals and coaches specialize in therapeutic trauma-informed art, somatic movement, integrative nutrition, and open processing to treat the whole person.
MENTORSHIP: We provide mentorship for gifted and high-achieving individuals focusing on providing tailored guidance to help them navigate their unique academic, emotional, and social challenges. This specialized support aims to foster their potential, ensuring they stay motivated, manage their emotions effectively, and achieve their personal and professional goals.
Carl "Alex"ander is an exceptional mentor dedicated to supporting gifted and high-achieving individuals. Graduating high school at 15, he attended Manchester University, majoring in psychology and minoring in biology. During his time there, he mentored college students three years his senior, showcasing his remarkable ability to guide and inspire. Alex earned a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo and a yellow belt in Hapkido, participated in basketball, golf, and 4H, and played the violin as second chair in the Trine University Community Orchestra. He was also an active member of the men’s track and field team and the honors program, presenting his research at the Midwestern Psychological Association and contributing significantly to the field with his thesis on psychological, academic, emotional, and social support for gifted students.
Currently, Alex is pursuing graduate studies in pharmacogenomics, having been admitted at 19 as the youngest student ever accepted into this top-ranked program. He also holds the distinction of being the youngest student ever accepted into Manchester University’s undergraduate program and serves as the VP of the Muslim Health Professionals at Manchester University, Ft. Wayne. As a mentor at Dani’s Garden, Alex focuses on supporting individuals with mental and behavioral health issues and gifted individuals needing comprehensive support. His diverse cultural experiences, having lived in Riyadh, Paris, and Italy, and traveled to Dubai, Germany, Canada, Hawaii, and Belize, further enrich his mentoring capabilities, making him an inspiring figure for those seeking to achieve their full potential. Alex is currently researching the importance of PGx testing for nonverbal autistic children who have ADHD.
